Privacy, made simple.
Here’s what happens to your information when you use ResuLama.
Your CVs
When you save a CV, it is stored in local storage in your current browser. ResuLama does not store CV content in a server database and does not require an account. Anyone with access to your device and browser profile may be able to access locally saved CVs.
Your saved CVs are available only in the same browser on the same device. Clearing site data, changing browsers, or changing devices may remove or hide them. Download a JSON backup from the editor if you need to transfer or preserve a CV.
LinkedIn imports
We don’t ask for your LinkedIn password or connect to your LinkedIn account. If you choose to import a PDF, its contents are sent to our import endpoint for text extraction; the upload is processed for the request and is not intentionally saved as a file or database record. Extracted CV details stay in your browser unless you choose to export them.
LinkedIn is a separate service. Its Save to PDF option may be unavailable for some accounts or languages. You can always enter your details manually instead.
Downloads & deletion
PDF, Word, text, and JSON downloads are generated in your browser. You can delete saved CVs from the My CVs page, or clear local site data in your browser settings. JSON backups are files you control.
Browser cookie
CV drafts and saved CVs use browser local storage. The site also loads third-party advertising scripts, which may use their own cookies or similar technologies and may collect data under the ad providers’ policies.
